Abstract: The multidimensional work of the Cinema Pedagogy and Media Culture Center of Moscow Pedagogical State University is presented in the article. This activity is aimed at the formation of students' traditional spiritual, moral, cultural and historical values, patriotic and civic positions through cinematography. Specific events organized by the staff of the Cinema Pedagogy and Media Culture Center in the framework of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory are given as an example.
