“Bulletin of the Russian State Film Fund” — a cultural and educational magazine created for film archival professionals and anyone interested in the history and culture of cinema.
The publication is aimed at forming a scientific and professional agenda in the field of archival affairs, film studies, history of cinema, restoration and digital transformation of cultural values.
Main directions and headings
- Science and technology: advanced methods of film archival work, restoration of film materials, preservation of film and photographic materials.
- History and modernity: research into the history of cinema and film archival work; analysis of the current state and development prospects of the industry.
- International experience and cultural integration: cooperation with international archives, cultural integration of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Aims
The journal aims to disseminate scientific knowledge, exchange experiences and develop dialogue between researchers, archivists, restorers, historians, teachers and filmmakers.
Publications contribute to the professional growth of specialists, the formation of an academic and applied community interested in historical and cultural heritage.
Our mission is to promote the preservation of Russia’s unique historical and cultural heritage, popularize knowledge about film storage and restoration technologies, support dialogue about the past, present and future of film archiving, and highlight the activities of Gosfilmofond as one of the leading institutions in this field.
